Here’s a return policy tailored for Woodshark Ventures’ furniture store, based on what you’ve outlined.
Woodshark Ventures – Furniture Return Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns work.
Eligibility: Furniture items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. To qualify, items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation). Custom-made, made-to-order, or bespoke furniture pieces are not eligible for return unless faulty, since these are produced specifically for the customer.
Defective or damaged items: If a product arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, Woodshark Ventures will cover the cost of pickup and will offer a free repair, replacement, or full refund, at the customer’s choice. Please report defects within 48 hours of delivery with photos where possible, so we can resolve it quickly.
Change of mind: If you simply change your mind about a purchase, you may return the item within the 30-day window, but the customer is responsible for arranging and covering return transport. Items must be returned in resalable condition.
Refunds: Once a returned item is received and inspected, customers can choose between a refund to their original payment method or store credit toward a future purchase. Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days of approval.
Non-returnable items: Clearance or sale items marked “final sale,” custom orders, and items showing signs of use or damage not present at delivery are not eligible for return.
How to start a return: Customers should contact us at info@woodsharkventures.co.ke or 0103836835 with their order number and reason for return before sending anything back, so we can confirm eligibility and arrange next steps.
A couple of things worth deciding before this goes live: whether construction/interior design services (which are project-based, not retail) need a separate clause since they’re different from furniture sales, and whether you want a restocking fee for change-of-mind returns (many Kenyan furniture retailers charge 10-15% to offset handling costs).
